Stick With It In 2010

Image
As 2009 comes to a close and we look forward to the approaching new year, there is a lot of talk about how we might be able to make it bigger and better for ourselves than the year before. We have hopes and desires that this is the year we will finally rid ourselves of that annoying habit (maybe yours or even someone else’s) , or maybe this is the year we will finally acquire that new talent or skill we have been putting off learning.  Each year we conveniently package these wants and desires, which for some reason, seem to be just outside our grab, in the form of “New Year Resolutions”.  So just how hard, or easy for that matter, will they be to achieve, how bad do you really want it, and how long, will it ultimately last? Well, I am sorry to burst your bubble, but the odds of you sticking to your new found ideals for more than a month are actually quite small. Why? Simply, most people make very difficult and vague resolutions and have not thought about exactly how they are going

I have a 7 year old son named Ethan! He is an absolutely amazing child. He is at the greatest age right now, an age where everything and anything can happen. There is no "impossible" and there is no limits to his reality! Although he is incredibly smart and already quite inquisitive, and even though he seems to know certain things defy logic and are out of bounds, even in his "nothing's impossible world", he still believes them to be true! Mostly because all I knew of Shaun T at the time was that he was that lead dancing guy that my wife worked out to all the time in a program called "Hip Hop Abs". He was built, spoke somewhat feminine, and worked out by dancing to hip hop beats in the background. My wife loves it, and after a couple plees to do it with her I gave in.. and... then gave up! I am not a dancer, and trying to follow those routines just didn't cut it for me. She told me it was called Insanity, it used no weights and was 60 days long. "Does he dance?" I asked, expecting to hear "of course!" come right back at me. "No" she said, laughing at the tone of my question, knowing my dislike of "dance routine workouts". I returned home and quickly watched the promo Insanity workout video from
